According to several sources, they should remain in contact until about 2030 or so. It is unlikely that they will be transmitting any useful data after about 2010 however, most scientific instruments will be shut down most of the time to conserve power. In fact, power sharing has been in effect for some time already, many instruments are currently not in use. As they are already beyond the planets of the solar system, some equipment would have been of little use anyhow, so of course that is turned off permanently.
