Its not just you. I agree with you, and it gets worse the older you get and with more kids>teens>young adults. It's really sick and sad. In high school is was bad enough, but wait till college, they get ten times worse.
I think its a lack of morals. People today...just don't have them. I blame parents and the media as well. In the media, look at the way everyone dresses and people look up to them and want to dress like them. Parents either don't care or the kids don't listen, I guess because things have changed so much...but it really depresses me to see this everyday. And its potrayed in everything anymore, Video Games, fashion shoes etc.
Clothing shopping for me has become very hard. I went to khols today and couldn't even find a shirt that WASN'T low cut. I hate shirts like that, clothes are geniuley supposed to cover...I mean no one wants to see that >< The same way for me with skirts. I love the long flowing kind in the winter and the not so short ones in the spring/summer. But I went through Wal-mart yesterday and they were SO short they couldn't cover anything.
So don't worry, its not just you. I hope this helps ^^;

Lack of parental supervision. as more women became primary head of house holds , more children became latch kid keys. And this generation has lacked religious training , and are more influenced by cultural trends rather being influenced by strong morals & ethics that in generations past were taught by the family and learned by spending 90-100% of there time interacting with their family of origin. The familes today are more fractured than in generations past. So, the kids more often run a muck!

Because they have no social upbringing, no self respect for themselves when the media dictates behavior and how you should be- tragically. Buy the new Gwen Stefani CD and see how angry her words are- how can one not recognize the influences; commercials that over dramatize liquor as being socialistic. Kids should be kids and not forced to grow up so fast- they don't know how good they have it- technological advances, let alone the freedom to express- you don't need an outside source to be yourself- just be!

Well not all kids are sluts like Im 15 and not a slut. I think it has to do for who people use for role models. Alot of the celebritys these days dress really slutty so people wanna look like the stars so they dress like hoars. Well thats just my opinion though

I think it's because of the war on drugs/alcohol.
We partied much more than the kids now and so much of it was in the open, under age drinking for example.
I think it was us. We were too stoned for fooling around.

I mean there is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend or girlfriend its what they do. All these girls are wearing shorts when it is below 30* That ain't cute. Kids need to respect themselves enough to have others saying positive things about them not negative.
