I'm a musician and I would rather play in front of 300 people than 2 or 3 people. The more the better.

I do indian dancing : I have done it 3 times since second grade thru 5th , and at first time i was nervous. Other times, i wasnt cuz i already had the "nervous" expierience. Its not a big deal. The only reason they are staring at you is the fact that ur ON STAGE! the best part tho, is having the whole audience clap. I did this infront of 300-400 people.

Ya...it was nerve racking @ first, but practice in front of a couple of friends so u can get used to it. I knw it's hard and you start to get all shaking and butterflies in your stomach, but i KNW u can do it and people here on Yahoo! may agree w/ me. Just be calm, stretch out, breath, you'll b ok. And you said "concert" as in band?Well, if so, ur not the only one nervous, just think knw that other people around you are even more nervous than you! So come on! I BELIEVE in you! You can do it!! Take Care and have FUN!!!

hi sweetie, you know , i am a singer so i have to do this all the time, my best advice is to look over there heads, and play like you are playing for the LORD! most of the time it will look dark from the stage anyway, this really helps. and keep in mind alot of people would love to be in your place. ( remember the disabled that could never be able to play before anyone). GOD, chose you to have this talent, do the best you can that is all anyone can do, you are ready! go play and have a great time ok, GOOD LUCK, AND GOD BLESS.

Yes, I probably would be pretty nervous...not too nervous if it was to act, sick to my stomach if I had to sing (I'm more of a sing in the shower type).
Just remember that the people coming to your concert are probably people that want to hear you do well, but still will forgive/support/love you even if you completely mess up. Don't worry about it, doing your best is what they want to see.

The honest truth is that I would be scared to my stomach because I have a fear of being on the stage with lots of people in front of me. I know how you feel I have to sing In front of a lot of people but all you have to think about is trying your best. And if you just try your best you should do great!!!

Yes, but then I would be nervous in front of even just a few. Are they people you know? I think it would be harder to perform for someone you know than for someone you don't know, cause if you don't know them you're not as afraid of making a mistake. But then again if it's someone you do know, you have their moral support. Good luck! I'm sure you will do fine.

definately, i would be nervous. But as long as I have other people on the stage with me that i trust, than it wouldnt be so bad. If your singing to start off, close your eyes, so that you can start of okay and then once you see that people enjoy your stuff and start smiling or look interested than that will motivate and make you feel better on stage.

i think many people would be freaked out if they were performing but if you know that what you are doing out there is something that you enjoy doing and you have practiced and practiced then you should be rocking that concert. Just believe in what you know and remember it's OK to feel scared but just don't let that ruin your shining moment. GOOD LUCK!!!
