Yes, mergers are GOOD! They increase the price of the product to the customer by creating monopoly's, just like when several of the oil companies mergered while gas was $1.29/gallon...and now it's double.

More than 30 years ago, when many crazies were railing against the UN and the possibility of "one world" government, I began writing that it wasn't government we had to fear, but huge multi-national corporations, which would control the world's markets and therefore, the world. President Eisenhower, way back in the 1950's, also warned against the power of the "military-industrial complex." Over the years, nothing has happened to change that argument . . . and virtually everything that's happened has reinforced it.
