no. The xbox 360 wired controllers hook up to a usb port and the xbox 360 uses an xbox guide button that the regular xbox controllers dont have.

Uh wrong, you can have 3. Two on the front, and one on the back! Although it's annoying having someone hook the controller up from the back it can be done. (talking about USB controllers here)
And the max is obviously 4. But to get 4, someone has to be using atleast one wireless controller ^.^

no they cant, the xbox's hook-up is really thick. A 360's controller is either wireless or it hooks up to the system with a USB cable, but you can only have two USB controllers.
