I was in a similar situation, it took me 1 year. That was with my second daughter. My third was due to 1 missed pill!! My advice, don't think about it, relax, and just enjoy trying!!

Every month, even if you do everything correctly, you still only have a 40% chance of getting pregnant, and a little under a quarter of those will end in miscarriage, especially in women 35 or older. But not to worry, many women accomplish pregnancy, good for you that it is on purpose! Barring any health problems with either you or you partner, I would imagine you will be pregnant in the next few months. Good luck!

I think 6 months is the length of time for women over 35 before it's suggested you talk to a doctor.

However, I was on the pill for many years, missed ONE pill and got pregnant (I was 36 at the time). Good luck!

I will be 35 in January and my husband and I have been trying for 8 months. We've both been tested and are both healthy but still not conceiving. I think every woman is different. It is very frustrating.

Don't wait. Go to your OB now! Have your man get his sperm checked, too.
