Of course. Anything that the writers want to make happen can happen, so Betty could end up with Daniel–with or without a makeover. Plus, in Yo Soy Betty, Le Fea, the telenovela upon which Ugly Betty is based, Betty does end up marrying her boss (who is named Armando), so there is prececdent, but there's no guarantee that the American version will follow that.
Personally, I'm loving the chemistry between America Ferrara and Eric Mabius, so I am just enjoying their friendship right now, content to leave any romance for much farther in the future–they're not right for each other right now.

I, personally, do not like Daniel and I think that he would be all wrong for Betty. I like the guy from the other dept. who has recently shown an interest in her. The reason that I say this is because Betty, in the finale of the show, will--most likely--reveal that she is truly a pretty girl (with the help of a complete makeover). But she will always be a very smart, level-headed, honest, and sweet person--too good for Daniel.

Well if you go to tv.com and type in ugly Betty theres forums and stuff.I read that in the teleseria I think thats how you spell it she actually ends up with Daniel.Betty falls in love with him and soon Daniel falls in love with betty.

If she does it will ruin the show. I think they will probably do that on the last show of the series(when it's cancelled). It will be many years before this happens!
