I didn't know that that Bret got kicked out of Poison. I think that I like Motley Crue better. I didn't realize that Mick Mars was as sick as he was.

My preference is and always will be The Crue!!! Tommy Lee is a fahkin animal on the drums, and although C.C. is an incredibly good guitar player, Mick Mars never gets the recognition he deserves. He was the most talented musician in the band by a long shot!!!
Crue always put on a great show and their heavier side appeals more to me. Poison is always fun to listen to, but that's it... just fun.

I like them both. The Crue has a harder edge that I really adore, but Poison has such a playful presence that bleeds over into their songs.
I can't choose between them any more than I can choose between Metallica & Iron Maiden....though Metallica edges out Maiden ever so slightly in my book.

"Motley Crue"-(during "Too fast for love";1982) -Shout at the devil is awesome too. after that album their style slowly changed but some of it's o.k.....(same with poison-their old stuff is their best).
