well i mean, van nistroly was getting mad anyway beacuse he wasnt getting playing time. It had to be done. REmember how he left the game (i forgot which 1) because he wasnt in the starting 11? tats not good sportsmanship at all. NO matter how big you are, u dont do that. YA, hes great talent, but so is rooney. Man U might be better without him even though Hes in top fit wit real madrid...

No i don't think it was a mistake, RVN was a tap in artist. Unlike other strikers, RVN did not go and create chances himself to score. Most of his goals were created by supporting midfielders or mistakes from defenders. He could sit in front of goal and do absolutely nothing but when he's given one chance he'll make the most out of it. That's not what United needs to challenge Chelsea, Saha is quick and ables to adapt to different situations which saw me in favour over RVN near the end of last season.
Look at him at Madrid, his scoring ability hasn't changed much, his recent goal against Lyon was once again a tap in from close and like his many other. Madrid needed a good finisher which RVN fitted perfectly.
In my opinion, he lacks pace and flexibility but however he undoubtedly is still a deadly striker if he is given the chance.

Any team with van Nistelroy will getting guaranteed goals. So its always a mistake to trade him but his absence has been replaced by the growth of young players like rooney and ronaldo and the secret weapon Saha.

nope he wanted 2 go. fergie did the right thing. cant hav a player there if he doesnt wanna play 4 em.
however it is sad. i loved nistlerooy. his was the master when it came 2 scorin goals. just the right place all the time. finshed what others couldnt. i read somewhere once. nistlerooy doesnt hav the skill of ronado, raul and henry. but none of them seem capable of scorin as many as ruud.
how is he goin over in madrid anyway. i havnt heared. i konw that saha is doin well and now we hav larrson!!!1

I think it was not a mistake, because MAN UTD believe that there players are played very good. There is no doubt that RVN is a superb player. In today every person wants to be a successful player & he wants to be great oppertunity. RVN was very old player who played for MAN UTD and every person wants to be change in life.
Now, MAN UTD gives chance to there youngsters, and thay are playing very goodbecause there confidence is very high.
My own oppinion is that this was a very good discion.

No because I think that they will replace him with a better striker next season. At the moment , Rooney & Saha are doing a great job.

No, and it shows in their form. They are a MUCH better team this season compared to last. RVN was basically a goal hanger who didnt like to work too hard for his goals..Saha is much more effective to the team as a whole.

It worked out equally if not more to man u. they got rooney (younger and more promising) while rudd is about 30 or 31 and at times he was fightin through injuries and playing time. man u is in first while madrid is in second in the standings if im not mistaken.

Yes most definitely, he is banging them in for Madrid nad it couldve been even more with the missed penalties, but if his attitude was bad for the teams moral, then good it happened as they are playing well in the league and they just need to transfer this form to UEFA CL

I agree with you. Ruud should have stay but, what is there to be done. Sir Alex and Ruud were in disaccordance. they were angry with each other and Ruud was always keep on the bench, but, I can see that Man U is doing fine and if Ruud was still there, they would have done more better. Meanwhile, Ruud seems happy in Real.
