A cheap one that works for both Desktop & Laptops is Belkin 54g and it is what I use for 3 computers. the router (WiFi sender) can give wireless signals & has 4 wired ports for CAT 5 wires. but you need an ISP. Note: Monthly bills do not go up with Belkin. If you don't want Belkin, a little hint before you buy: if router does not have "g" after max speed, it will be "Dail-up speed"
