most people who are generally considered by society to be rotten are rotten because they simply dont care for others

very few people hate the world, but some dont seem to care quite as much

yet, many people hate these people who arent actually hateful

Hate requires energy and eventually eats away at the soul and often the souls of those around the hater.

Apathy is just plain nothing. No caring, no interest, no wasted energy.

Hating either is wrong. Hating the hater is even more wasted souls and energy. Hating the apathetic is only wasting your soul and energy. In the long run, everybody implodes.

Pass the scotch.

The question is faulty. Lots of people hate the world, all you have to do is watch the evening news to know this. Also most rotten people are either 1. Bitter or 2. Anti-Social. So people hate these people because they try to make everyone else miserable and bitter. So yes it is wrong.

Hate & apathy are very different things. Why is an apathetic person rotten, because they don't care?
Hatefull people it seems to me are rotten because they hate, in my opinion this makes them more dangerous.
An apathetic person simply wouldn't care about the world or the hatefullness in it.

as far as hating the apatheitc goes, it depends on what a given apatheitic individual does not do. If someone is hurt through his/her inaction, then scorn is deserved. If they hide away from everyone beyond where they could influence anyone else for good or ill, then they deserve our apathy

Hate poison's the mind and the heart.

Hate isn't wrong but to feel hatred for someone who feels nothing is unnecessary hurt.

basically, the hate comes from deep inside yourself. it is the factors that made up you as you are. you can HATE the haters and you can LOVE the lovers. how about HATING lovers and LOVING haters? confused? don't be as i believe it is our own background history or psychology or in the way we were brought up by our parents that brings that hate to us.
