You already know the answer to this. Yes, they are both too young, and no, you can't do anything to stop her unless you want to tell her mother or the police.

Well for starters they are both too young. You do have a big influence on your friend. First you should try telling her that she will regret it and it will put hour into more trouble then she knows. Explain that she is too young to be dating a guy his age. She has to realize that having sex will put her the situation were he wants to do more and she feels it wrong. But because she already did it he will make her feel obligated to do it again. You should inform her parents of the fact that there daughter is going out with a guy that is 16. You may be able to talk to the guy; depending on how old you are and if he will listen and not hurt / threaten you. if you do talk to him and let him know you are concerned that your friend might not know what all she is getting into. Ask him to back down a little and explain to your friend what is happening. He should have learned all about this stuff in high school. And if he is unreasonable about your request he is not right for her. You will have to inform them that she is thinking of having sex with him. Make sure they know she has not done it yet. As a good friend Doing this may make her hate you but in the long run she will realize why you did what you did.

gurl first off...he is way 2 grown fa her....second..she is too yung....you r being a very considerate friend....you need to tell her that she need to wait becuz she got plenty of time to have sex....on the other hand, he shouldnt be going out wit a 12yr old.....dats like RAPE. if he is encouraging her to have sex, then she need to let him go even if he is the finest boy ever....

Look you tell her he can go to jail for that. Ask her if she wants to have a baby. Ask her if she wants him to GO TO JAIL AND BE ON THE SEX REGISTRY FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. Because that is what would happen. Oh she might not get pregnant but they will get caught and then he's gone.

I agree with Avatar, except 16 doesn't qualify as "an older man." that's still a little boy, one who has no clue as to what he is in for. Neither of them do. She needs to protect herself and worry about going to slumber parties, painting her nails, listening to Britney Spears and N*Sync instead of spreading her legs for some pimply little punk who wants to get his rocks off.
