Potentially yes. If you swamp your system with alcohol, and if you really are tolerant enough to NOT throw up then you can overload your body alcohol level.
Throwing up is one self-defense mechanism, and this is one situation where being able to bypass it may not be in your best interest.
You may simply be sick as a dog and/or vomit, or you could put yourself in a coma or die. Somewhere in between is my guess.

I did some pretty dumb things too as a young man, like drinking half a bottle of rum straight down. Within an hour I was vomiting like crazy and I was out for about 20 minutes. I would never do anything like it again.
12 shots sounds pretty close to half a bottle so I think you can guarantee you will be throwing up , I hope nothing worse happens to you. Good luck.

Well, generally, ANY time you vomit from drinking it is because you already have alcohol poisoning. Light weight or not, It isn't a good idea. Didn't you hear about that one college student a few years back who died from doing this very thing? Al tho I do believe he did 25 shots in less than 30mins. Excessive drinking can also lead to Cirrhosis of the liver among many many other things. Drinking is fine when done in moderation. Just for your own health, don't go over board.

Blood Alcohol poisoning. You have to consider the amount of alcohol and the duration of time you drink it in. To drink that much over an hour is safer then in 12 minutes because your body has time to process some of it. Drink smart...if you really plan on doing this do some research on what is safe for your height and weight. Also please don't drink and drive.

Your parents are probably paying to send you to college and you are trying to end up brain dead. You can get alcohol poisoning any time the volume of alcohol exceeds your blood level you can end up in a coma. For that matter, you can get blood poisoning anytime a liquid exceeds your blood level, even water. There was a guy in texas that was hazed, they thought they were being smart by using water instead of alcohol and he died. No lie. Think about the real reason you act the way you do. and think whether or not you want to live like vegetable with your mom wiping your a s s for the rest of her life.
