Please help me, I am writing a paper for my English class on ipods and I need 50 peoples educated opinions on iPods. Please just write a small statement about what you know and include your last name so I can legally quote you, if you do not feel comfortable stating your last name, just use your first or make up one. Thanks. -Cody

I have an Apple IPOD Nano and love it. It plays about 500 songs thru ITUNES software that comes with the IPOD. You then can copy your CDs on to the IPOD using the ITUNES. It will bring up the titles on the IPOD as well as the artists. The battery lasts about 14 hours of playing time. It has a sychronizer that you can adjust the bass etc., for your listening enjoyment.

Ipods are the signs that the times are coming around. We started off with bulky radios and had no control over what songs we heard. Then we had turn tables for our records which were still bulky, and eventually progressed to A-tracks, Cassets and CDs. However, you can't buy a CD with specific songs you like unless you burn it yourself, so Ipods are handy features if you like certian songs but don't wish to purchase the entire CD/Album. I've even noticed a lot of older-generation folks purchasing Ipods just so they can listen to the oldies without hunting down vintage records or their old A-tracks anymore!

I have a 60 gig ipod that I use to store my entire cd collection. The cds almost fill up an entire closet; the ipod fits in my pocket. The only frustrating thing was the time it took to rip the cds into itunes, but the end result was worth it.

iPods are very useful. You can use them while exercising, doing lawn work, or if your like me, I like to use them by the pool on the cruise that I take every year. They are a great way to block out the rest of the world and to just enjoy yourself without offending anyone else with your choice of music.
