When I read my mail it's in this little box that I can't expand.How do I make it bigger?

I need to know which buttons to use. I'm not very computer savvy

Move your mouse real slowww over to the borders of the box(vertical or horizontal) and it will turn into an arrow of somekind, at that point you can hold the left button on the mouse and drag the borders to resize it.
