The bear for sure. A full sized grizz can stand more than ten feet tall and they have awesome power in their jaws and paws. A bear also fishes for food so it would be used to being in the water, plus it is much more agile and quick than the crocodile. Crocs use the death roll, but this would be hard on a great big bear, so I think that while the fur and scales would fly the bear would be the final victor.

It would have to occur in a zoo, because Grizzly Bears and crocodiles do not share habitats.

If they did meet, however (theoretically), the outcome would depend on the circumstances of the meeting. A dry-land meeting probably would favor the Grizzly, and an aqueous meeting would probably favor the croc. I'm betting that the Grizzly would come out on top more often.

I'd say the crocodile. Crocodiles have tougher skin than bears, and they also have more teeth. With those teeth the bear's feet could easily be bitten, leaving the bear to a severe disadvantage. How would these animals get into a fight anyway? They're from two very different habitats...

ooohh good one hmm i don't know as much as i'd like to say grizzly bear if a crocodile got a good bite on the bears back paws it's done but a bear can just keep wailing at the croc it sounds like it could go either way

Maybe if the bear were trained by steve irwin it could win, but a croc's closing jaw would mess up a bear, no contest! The bear wouldn't be able to get close enough to hurt the croc!

Depends where they fight. Prob. the bear unless it is in the water, then the Croc. only has to hold on for 5 minutes or so underwater. Remember that Croc.s don't kill directly, they win by drowing the victim.

I would think a grizzly bear, only slightly. But who in the world would test this, and its probably never happened since they don't have habitats near eachother.

If the fight was in water, the crocodile is my bet. If on land, then the bear is my bet.

depends on the size, but on land, it would be close, maybe a slight edge to the bear, croc would romp in the water

but honestly, a tiger would whup both of them
