When she was a child, she and Princess Margaret -Rose often went on the underground with their Nanny ( and the body guard) Remember their faces were not as well known to the public in the days before TV so this was possible, they even went on a double decker bus.

Only for publicity! I very much doubt she has travelled on the London underground - would you if you were chaffeur driven everywhere! And for security reasons she would not even be allowed to travel on the underground!

Yes she has, at the opening of the jubilee line i think, she looked totally bewildered by it all. I remember a photograph of her in the press she had a face like thunder

My initial reaction was no, but after reading the answers so far apparently she has, but of course it was just publicity and if she doesn't want to drive herself, she has a hearse, limo, etc I'm sure with her own private driver.
