As our government loses interest in the people it governs over, I lose faith that I can instigate change. The one power I have to voice my concern is voting, but I have not been granted that right thus far. I can only sit and watch as the world goes down the drain. Those who can vote have only lies to base their vote upon. The fate of the next generation is in the hands of mislead voters. Apathy is not a solution; it is a way of avoiding the problem. I worry that if everyone avoids the problems there will be no one left to solve them. It is time for everyone to stop passing the blame and accept reality.
