Go in the bios and find out what the boot order is. Should be your hard drive.

Sounds like the computer is trying to boot from the cd rom drive.

Have you installed it correctly? As others have mentioned you might need to enter Bios during startup (F8 or F10 etc) and then select the boot up order as required. Either that or your computer is corrupted or just naff.
