Go in the bios and find out what the boot order is. Should be your hard drive.

Looks like your PC hardware specs may not be 100% compatible with Windows XP Home - check out the following link to work out whether you can actually run XP Home on your particular setup...

Sounds like the computer is trying to boot from the cd rom drive.

Have you installed it correctly? As others have mentioned you might need to enter Bios during startup (F8 or F10 etc) and then select the boot up order as required. Either that or your computer is corrupted or just naff.
