No it is never too late to learn something new!
We have SUCH a shortage of Nurses in this country that every little bit helps. You could get your LPN inside of 1 year and your RN in 2 with diligent effort. Either way, the profession would welcome you and you could work as long as you are able.

Depends.... Do you want to be 64 sitting around saying, "is it too late now for a career in nursing" It is never too late to learn. Go find your favorite celebrity your age and pattern yourself after them. That is some motivation.

Are you kidding. Life begins at forty and by sixty you're really cookin'. I'm fifty-eight and I live in Virginia. When I turn sixty I'll be able to audit courses for free at Northern Virginia Community College and the state University, George Mason U., both of which are reasonably close. Guess what I'm gonna do.

Is it too late for you to get an education in how to spell? Just playing. Guess you have a typo there. I've never seen a nurse that looked over 45. People your age are usually being taken care of by nurses, not being nurses.

It's never too late. My suggestion is to go for!!! You will be proud of your accomplishment. Anyone would be proud of you including me. The sky is the limit.

Not technically, but I don't know how much good it would do you now. Most medical professions require several years of studying, and you're probably not going to be working past sometime in your 70s, so you'd get maybe five or ten years of work max.
