if we are talking about the universe, then we midus well be talking about preserving a single atom of water in the ocean, ok bad analogy but the point still stands. From a scientific point of view. the earth and let alone the galexy that earth is in is nothing more than a blip on an infinet plan when comparing to the universe. for humanity to survive, humanity must tend to more localized areas like, uh earth. Additonaly if the univers is going to end i don't even think scientist have a estimate time on when that event is going to happen, especially if the universe is continually making new stars/galxies/ and so on. and if your religious (which i am) then u should even worry bout the universe, deal with the problems at hand and on earth.

hope i made sense in that

Yes, many scientists are trying to figure that out, but life must go on as normal. If we are worrying only about that, people will go hungry because we aren't farming, and many things could go wrong. Also, if people panic, another thing like what happened with War of the Worlds on the radio will start. People may commit suicide, or do really stupid things like that. And the universe isn't going to die for billions of years, if it dies at all. So don't worry, if you want to find a way to survive, be my guest, it may help future generations, but we aren't going to announce it or anything.

No our Universe will not die. It's already expanded as much it can in Vacuum. But it can create black holes within it'self, that have a greater vacuum rip across the Universe in places...

Nasa don't know it, but it only has half of the good stuff that is possible to create in terms of engineering design.( And that's the truth ) But what they have is good stuff...Nobody needs everything I geuss. It's a long trip across to another galaxi and not worth the danger for human travel any ways..

Yup. But we are not sure that's going to happen. Although we should be on our guard all the time. I mean, anything (that isn't expected) can happen. The sun might explode, the universe might die, a black might suck us up. Somthing like that.

Answering your question, I think it is too simple to be true. If the universe dies out, are we gonna survive? No. There is no chance. So...we can't do anything about it. Although I think it is not gonna die so soon...

It's not worth it. The universe will die...in millions of years, not now. The human race will be extinct in shorter time. Even for the survival of the human race, you can do nothing. Other civilisations, other creatures will come and go on this planet. Nothing is eternal.

There is a quantum- theory that there are an infinite number of universes/realities, each one different than the other one. We'll probably be extinct by the time we had the technology to get to one though.

The Universe can't die, and if it ended it'd be completely impossible for us to do anything about it. We'll probably be extinct long before this just planet is gone yet, anyway.

Weeelllllll, considering that most species only last a few million years, and that the universe still has several BILLION years to go, I really don't think it's a problem we'll ever have to deal with.

our universe will be incorporated into a larger galaxy, and so on, until everthing is sucked into a giant black hole leaving the vaccuum of space a complete void. There's not much you can do to survive that.

Yes! There is probably no way of developing a time line but there will be no escape. Do you not think you would get bored in a quadrillion years from now?
