An acre is a measure of area, whereas a mile is a measure of distance. If you mean square mile, then there are 640 acres in it.

A mile is a measure of length, an acre is measure of area. So you can't answer this question as asked. Do you mean how many acres are in a square mile?

Makes no sense - an acre is a measurement of area, a mile is a measurement of distance. Did you mean "square mile" instead?

You cannot compare a one-dimensional scalar quantity (mile) with a two dimensional one (acre).

However, you can compare an acre with square miles... the common unit would be feet.
