Since your computer has an AGP slot, then that limits your choices. For gaming purposes, I would suggest a Geforce 6800 or higher. If you want the best, then it would be the GeForce 7800GS. If you don't want to spend $350, then for $130, you can get an GeForce 6800.

If you want to browse, then go to www.newegg.com. They got great prices and selection. This is where I got my XFX Geforce 6800XT. It only has 8 pipelines, but it has dual DVI ports. If you want 12 pipelines, then the 7600GS goes for $125.

BTW, I play Doom, Unreal, Command and Conquer, Battlefront. They all work great.
