I would probably say yes. I wanted to be an actress and a few years ago i went to a "talent agency" and they said all that jazz too. Tons of money for pictures, training, and it was a narly scam. We ended up not paying it because when we got there it was this hole in the wall. The inside was nice but the outside, you could tell they didnt want anyone else knowing they were there. So tell her to be cautious. And call the better business bureo. They will know if the company is legit.

It depends. They should do alot of research on the company.

There are some reputable companies that charge to start a portfolio, because they are taking a risk.

However, she should know that there are many companies that do not charge for starting a portfolio.

Just make sure she does research on this company and check out websites like ripoffreport.com.

As long as she gets some good references and doesn't find any bad reports or information about the company then it's fine.

Sounds like a scam from here: if they want him, the people at the agency should pay for the pics. Unless it's for his portfolio, and if he's a baby, he shouldn't need many!

It's a scam. What kind of a mom would do that to her baby anyway?
