I would have to easily say NHL 07, no matter what system you have. Some magazines say its 2k7 but most people strongly disagree. The graphics and gameplay for 2007 are far better then those of 2k7. 2k7 hasnt ddvolped like the EA NHL games have. 2k7 has a very weak season and franchise mode and there seems to be a few gliches when you play in like an actual game. It very easy to score and if u try a wrap around you score almost everytime.

It depends on what system you are playing the game for. For Xbox 360, I would suggest NHL 07. Although 2K7 has received better reviews by almost all sites, I prefer the physics. I find that in NHL 07 you score goals in very realistic ways. The puck moves like a real game, and it doesn't rely simply on one-timer shots to score. NHL 2K7 relies heavily on the one-timer. However, the franchise and online features, as well as mini-games available in the NHL 2K make it a much deeper game.
My response basically narrows down to this.
Gameplay: NHL 07
Features: NHL 2K7
You will have to get used to the new controls in NHL but the game plays much more realistically than 2K. However, 2K is also a very good game, with more replay value. It depends on what you like, realism, or features.
