i started driving ed last week in my school.
Before i got into the class, i thought somebody would teach me how to drive a car firsthand.
but it turned out that i just watch some videos and learn
some written notes about driving.

half of the students in that class got their learner's permits before the driving education started, but i still haven't taken that driving exam.
i don't know what to do,....................
can somebody tell me what i am supposed to do and what i have to do in the Driving Ed?

It is difficult to apply what you are learning in your class if you have no other driving experience in relation to the information you are being given take lots of notes ask the teacher to give you print outs of anything being taught and later note what applies when you go further.Good Luck you are showing a willingness to learn

Every state has a different system, but here we took driver's ed in 2 parts- classroom and practical. You need 30 hours of classroom, where they teach you the rules, signs, etc. Then you do 6 hours of on the road practical with a driver's ed insturctor and 1 or 2 other students. After that you can take the test for your permit, which is written only. You don't take the practical driving exam till you get your license.

Technically you don't have to take driver's ed to take the written test, but it helps alot because the written test is hard and not necessarily what you know naturally.
