I always thought that experiencial gifts are good for children. Take her to the movies, or to an amusement park. You can buy the tickets and then wrap them for her. If you give an experiential gift, then not only will she love it, but you are building a relationship with her.

a webkinz. it is a stuffed animal that comes with a secret code. on www.webkinz.com you go to first adoption. there you type in the code, make a username and password, and choose a name for your pet and whether it's a boy or a girl. after that you can play with your virtual pet on the webkinz website. if you go to the website, there is a tour that they give you about webkinz world. you can check that out and see what webkinz is all about. you can buy them at a hallmark. also if you don't know where your nearest hallmark is, there is a store locator on the website too.

good luck.

some other gift ideas might be some nice clothes or something cool from Target. maybe her favorite movie or book series too.

If my neice is the average 10yo, she is starting to want to try wearing make up and perfume and just plain being more grown up than you think she is. Go with that, really pale cosmetics, perfume, soap, lotion, ect. in a light, young scent (cotton candy, fruit, any Love's scents), a purse, jewlery. Basicly the same things a woman would like just in younger styles, colors or scents.

princess things, barbies, friendship bracelt kid, boardgames (pretty pretty princes, spongebob life, monoply) those game you plug in to the TV and play. Books, activity books, coloring books, crayons, markers, dolls, polly pockets, my littlest pet shops, a water baby, a dress up kit, fuzzy posters, paint by number kits, disposable camera, scrapbooking kits, dvds, cds, a videogame system....Playstation 2 is very cool about $129 at wal-mart, and the games range from $10-60

I hate Bratz too, and they are not allowed in my house...anyway, how about crafty stuff, like the kits to make friendship bracelets? My neice liked the kit I got her and she was 9.

I don't know what her situation is but how about buying her a really pretty holiday dress that they have a wal-mart for example and maybe get her a new little necklace that is something nearly any little girl would love (except me at that age, i hated dresses and my parents couldn't get me into one to save their soles). That way you don't have to buy her any toys and she will have something that hopefully she can wear again. Merry Christmas and good luck.

try giving her a gift card to her favorite store. maybe, if the parents are ok with it, you can give her a card to Club Libby Liu, if your town has one. or, you can take her out shopping, or out to do whatever she wants. (movie, lunch, etc.)
