Just put some bogus data in the software that lets you connect. Ex putting a password on an unsucured network.

In the system tray by the clock there should be an application that is controlling your wireless card. Click on it to open the menu and select the disconnect option. Repeat to get the connection going again.

Look in the task bar it should show a computer with signals coming out of it right click it and press disable, to get back into it press start-connect too- and press the one you were in and it will enable it again.
