HEllo, who decided to put the rookie in who hasnt played this year, in the vital games of the season. He has proven he isnt ready to play against the big boys, so put Plummer back in, and play Cutler when were kicking ***, and no worries, or if Plummer is hurt. Broncos made a HUGE mistake by benching Plummer, and bringing in the ROOKIE this far into the season. At least let Plummer finish the season, hell Broncos were kicking *** with Plummer, why the bench anyway. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON MIKE?????

you should have watched around the horn today, a very good point was made about this decision. It was pretty inevitable that plummer was going to be benched at some point this year, every game was him having to watch his *** so he didn't get benched, shanahan knew that at some point this season he was gonna make the change. The timing of the decision to change qb's was not good, cutlers a rookie and not a seasoned rookie like romo or like rivers was, they got to watch and learn for a while. Cutlers being thrown into a bad situation and there's a lot of pressure on him, shanahan should have made the switch earlier knowing that it was inevitable, so that cutler could adjust, december in the afc is not a good time to start a rookie

Go easy on the kid it was his first nfl start, look at Romo(he threw 3 picks in 1 half in his first game) We all know Plummer sucks and u act as if Denver could win a superbowl with him neway. Mike had to do this, Plummer's play has forced Mike to play a conservative offense for the most part of the year. Time for Shanahan to take a chance with the rookie. If their defense is so great then wat much of a improvement is there in playin Plummer over Cutler.

Benching Plummer shows me only on thing. Broncos are going to make a serious run in '07. With him this year it's almost comical to think he gives you a better shot at the Super Bowl. Plummer could have been the Dilfer on the "00 Ravens team. Just good enough to not lose. With Cutler, I think they are looking at next year. Which makes no sense since Denver has a Super Bowl caliber team this year. First time in awhile Shanahan makes a bone head move of that magnatude.

I think Shanahan is thinking ahead to next year. And I think that is so unfair to the veteran players. And I just can't respect a coach like that. I took one look at Lynch's face last night and thought this was a damn shame. The defense played very well last night and if Jake would have been in they would have won....Cutler made mistakes at crucial times because hes a rookie. Still can't understand why people are so quick to critize Plummer. All you have to do is look at his winning percentage and know he was the man for the job.
And blackhawk I agree with you what the hell was Shanahan thinking...You risk getting one of the best kickers hurt on a stupid play...How desperate are you?

Who knows what's going on with Mike. If you look at the numbers.. Plummer has been more successful than Elway in many different ways. Elway was a good quarterback, don't get me wrong, but Plummer isn't bad himself. Let's see Plummer back on the field, and I agree with you, let's bench Cutler. Just my 2cents.

Plummer is a veteran and wouldn't have made that lousy interception the Seattle D-Lineman. Plummer should get ONE more chance but if he can't do it I'm all in for Cutler.
