it still is....a Fighting Cocke...and no im not kidding. its pretty bad when your mascot is censored haha (i had to add the "e" on the end so that it wouldnt censor it).

Cherokees, as in the Native Americans. Unfortunately, three years ago, the School District decided against Native American names, so it is now Hurricanes.

Everyone from the past will always call it the Cherokees. Our song was Cherokee Nation by Paul Revere.

I got to the same school as the girl whose mascot is Fighting Cocke......it's....original...to say the least. lmao....


oh...and the highlight of the year is when we play the Morristown West Trojans....SO many fliiping comments made. "Go Cocks! Bust the Trojans!"

A FOOTHILLER. OK...my school was in La Mesa,CA a suburb of San Diego. La Mesa sits near the "foot" of some low mountains or "hills".
