Women have what is called in the trying to conceive community EWCM (Egg White Cervical Mucus) before ovulatation. BUT having EWCM does not necessarily mean that you will ovulate, women that don't ovulate regularly can have this throughout the cycle and never ovualte. The ONLY SURE sign of ovulation is a transvaginal ultrasound that measures follicles and confirms them rupturing! Even ovulation predictor kits are not 100% accurate in detecting that you will ovulate - they only measure the amount of Lutenizing Hormone that is in that specific void, women can also have false LH surges. Anyway, when you have this fertile quality cervical mucus it is very high in glucose and has ferning pathways for the sperm to swim through to make it up to the uterus and fallopian tubes faster. This is usually a womans most fertile period.

A woman ovulates anywhere between 14 - 17 days after the first day of her last period.

You do the math.

I hope that helps.

You are ovulaing then. You can normally tell when this is going to occur by counting from the first day of your last period. The tenth to eighteenth day is when you ovulate, around the fourteenth day is the best time to try and conceive.

Good Luck

No that doesn't mean you are ovulating. It means you are a woman. Get an ovulation kit if you want to try that way.
