George W Bush told victims trapped in flooded and devastated New Orleans that he would remember them long after his one-day visit to areas battered by hurricane Katrina.

"I'm going to fly out of here in a minute, but I want you to know that I'm not going to forget what I've seen. I understand the devastation requires more than one day's attention," Mr Bush said.

"It's going to require the attention of this country for a long period of time. This is one of the worst natural disasters we have faced, with national consequences and therefore, there will be a national response."

Has he forgotten? Have we all forgotten?

Yes, Bush has forgotten. He never meant to remember. His only interest is the oil war in the Middle East. As Americans, we have to always pull up ourselves rather than have any help at all. Katrina victims must look to each other, not the present federal government. For this, I apologize to the hurrican victims. I'm so sorry you've been so ill-treated.

perhaps you probably did not understand this yet, New Orleans knew the typhoon change into coming and knew they were in for a significant disaster. even if what you declare is different than what absolutely exceeded off. at the same time as a typhoon strikes a state it is the states job to make the necessary arrangements and harm alleviation after wards. Did Bush come deliver alleviation to Southern California in the course of the wildfires a pair months in the past? No. Why? through the indisputable fact that organic disaster is a state challenge. similar with New Orleans. it is purely after the State of Louisiana requested Bush for help per week later that he replied immediately with help. If something you need to be mad on the louisiana state authorities for no longer requesting help swifter to assist keep all those lives. Bush change into purely following protocol. do not blame him for something that change into thoroughly out of his palms.

He didnt forget, he just didnt care for all those black people in the first place. He should be ashamed of himself for not fixing everything. If the govt would, maybe i could sell them all the windows they would need down there. I bet the democrats will fix it. Wait and see.
