Similar in some ways to the way they judged Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt, 2 other war Presidents, but probably most closely to the way we judged
the latter.

Roosevelt was fond of quoting a West African proverb: "Walk softly and carry a big stick, and you will go far." This sums up his quest for order and efficiency and his faith in government power to back up this order and efficiency. Roosevelt's practices led to the term "Big Stick Diplomacy"--international negotiations backed by the threat of force.

When all of the liberal and/or Democrat finger pointing disappears, the history books will show about Bush that while he was ineffective as Pres. at times, was by and large a clumsy speaker who relied too heavily on talking points, and didn't do things the way the American public wanted but what he thought was best for the country, he still did what he truly believed was right for the good of the country, making many changes along the way for 8 years.

He did not do things his way to ignore or reject the opinions of the American people, but instead because he thought they would simply not understand what he understould was best for the country.

I or anyone my age writing about the Presidency of GWB at this time could go on forever about it, but the one quality of GWB's Presidency was that he had certain absolute beliefs - whether they were moral, religious, political, military, or social - that he would always use to create or veto legislation, and he would never stray from or back down from those beliefs (especially the moral ones), even under the most extreme pressures or failure and ridicule.

Right or wrong, good or bad, George W. Bush may have been the most stubborn or the most complex President in our nation's history, only his true lifelong friends and/or family and/or confidants know for sure.

Well the way it looks now poorly. I really think he had an amazing oppurtunity to bring this country together and not just this country but the majority of the world and he blew it by rushing into Iraq. Every person I knew was behind this guy including myself after 9-11. I put my faith in him and in my estimation he betrayed my trust. I don't feel invading Iraq was the proper way to deal with terrorism. And now the whole thing in Iraq is an unbelievable mess in just about every experts opinion. Things may change for the better and lets hope they do but that is going to take what looks like a miracle at this point.

no longer the final significant with the aid of a protracted shot. there's a lot of entertainment left. there remains Barnett/Keyes v Obama in CA, the place the birthers think of the decide has ordered discovery and set trial for January. October 5th is the pending action to push aside listening to. Get your popcorn now! decide Land additionally ordered Captain Rhodes to pay the defendant's courtroom expenses. ask your self what which will run? I advise, how delusional can somebody be to come back up with this spin: "The case is very relatively significant — fairly a substantial step forward — because of the fact it relatively is the 1st EVER to communicate THE advantages OF THE information at the back of THE OBAMA ELIGIBILITY difficulty — yet NO DISCOVERY!!!!! according to this occasion, the place the courtroom has elected to communicate the advantages of the information of Obama eligibility, the courtroom denies the TRO asserting that those information are unlikely to tutor Obama ineligibility. because of the fact the information HAVE NOW BEEN RAISED — IN an certainly CASE — the subsequent step IS DISCOVERY according to those information. decide Land has executed an excellent choose and repair with the aid of establishing THE DOOR TO THE information SURROUNDING OBAMA ELIGIBILITY AS an argument. Don’t be fooled; confident decide Land known to come back down very troublesome on Taitz — yet lower back with the aid of asserting the information case is frivoulous, devoid of any discovery allowed relating those information — decide Land strikes the circumstances forward!!!!! (yet conserving himself from the Obamabots)"

I'm a history buff, but don't think anyone's going to worry about what GWB has done unless we get the nuclear annihlation some expect. If there's anyone left, then yeah, they'll curse him forever.

But I think/hope they'll be too busy with current affairs to sit around discussing GWB or anyone else from our era. It would take tremendous egos on our part to think any of us are that memorable. Yes, there are certainly those with egos, renaming schools, highways and public buildings for themselves (we still call it the Gator Bowl, the 20th Street Expressway or the Civic Auditorium, regardless of whose ego we bruise).

But almost all of our presidents have had horrific issues to deal with, and most of our school kids couldn't give you one example.

Do we sit around and judge or contemplate Grover Cleveland, Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington Carver....maybe, for about five minutes....life is too busy.

Just like Ford, Carter and the rest of the boys we like to fuss about, they won't warrant a blip on the radar 100 years from now, unless Franklin Mint is still in existence and making Presidential Quarters....(sorry, low humor, but after all, that's how most school children learn them)

Political science and history instructors will of course analyze and ponder, but I think, judging on our current "fifteen seconds of fame" existence, that ANY politician/celebrity/entertainer or public figure will be "Who?" to future generations or regular people.

How many people can name all of our presidents? Who has a clue who their senators are? I know people who don't even keep up with local elections and can't tell you who their city councilperson is. They are too busy trying to exist. Who knows who our Supreme Court justices are? Do we lose sleep over it?

Sorry, but I don't think anyone one hundred years from now is going to worry about GWB, assuming they can keep him straight from his relatives.

I think he will be remembered as a strong war / anti-terrorist President. He is a man who has not waivered his stance on the war, and said this in the aftermath of 9/11.

I believe the singular, and thus most important act that will be attributed to him will be he was the President that fought the terrorist on a global scale.

Of course this is conjecture on my part but personally I'm thankful the man has stood up to his many critics and has taken the fight to our enemies.

A horrible leader who wanted to be a dictator, increased the threat of terrorism, and took away Constitution-given rights such as the Habeas Corpus.

George W. Bush will go down in history as a precursor of the Anti-Christ!
George W. Bush is the 6th King in Rev. 17:10 who is spoken of in the present tense! Because when he was in office in 2001 there were 5-x presidents who were still alive, and one is yet to come, was Obama!

The angel Gabriel told me that Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ and that he is going to change his name and divorce his wife!
Obama is going to die first and then the Anti-Christ who was one of the previous 7 Presidents will take his place!

Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
These 7 kings were;
1. Gerald Ford
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan
4. George H. W. Bush
5. Bill Clinton

6. George W. Bush.... is spoken of in the present tense (and one is) because until Reagan died all 7 were alive!

7. Barack Obama.......and one is yet to come! He will die a few days after he raises taxes!
Obama is also in Dan. 11:20
Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Rev. 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

The angel Gabriel told me in Aug. 1973 that Jimmy Carter was the Anti-Christ and that he is going to change his name and divorce his wife!

Obama is going to die first, and then the Anti-Christ, who was one of the previous 7 Presidents will take his place!
