Yes, I go to a church now that has chairs instead of pews. They are much more comfortable, but that's another subject.
I used to go to a church with pews. I sat on the right side of the church, 3rd pew from the front, near the aisle. I little boy named Alex sat with me while his daddy played the guitar up front. It was a good place to sit so that I could see and hear well, and so that Alex could be close by when his dad came to sit down.
Alex's dad and I had a nice seating plan, but we both needed very much to be in a church that loved broken people. I wish we had realized that sooner.

Yes, it's called my parents church, I perfer my own much better, at least at my own i dont get slammed with babysitting
