i read something that talked about feeding a beta fish a pea for some reason, but i cant remember why. is it just good for there health or is it only if there is something wrong with them?

it's perfectly fine as a treat every now and then, no more than once a week though. it's usually done if the betta is constipated or has swim bladder problems.

I never fed mine any (because they never had those problems) until i got a snail for my tank and one of my bettas took the pea and swam around with it, it was pretty funny because she's very small. but apparently she loves them, so now she steals some when I put them in for my snails.

actually it is good to feed most fish peas as part of thier regular diet veggies should always be part of their diet and besides that it does help with swim bladder problems and constipation

It is good for them, use a frozen pea though and chop it up into little pieces, give him betta food though too.

i believe you should look it back up rather than asking on here. but i had a beta and im sure its not good for them, plus a pea is to large for them.. just stick with its regular food.
