chicken soup, tea, lots of fluids, no caffeine, (yikes!) an anti histamine, decongestant, and expectorant, double up on multi vitamins, and lots of rest....i just got over a cold that womped my butt, and there's really not much more you can do. make sure you have some really soft tissues, a raw nose on top of feeling crappy just makes it worse. hope you feel better soon!

Start really pushing water. That will help flush your system. I'd also start pushing vitamin c (which is a water soluable vitamin.....you can't ever take too much) and zinc. Lots of sleep some over the counter products to help with the achiness and congestion.
Best of luck, I hope you feel better soon!

Take a massive dose of Dayquil. I had it bad on a flight back from Central America and it cleared up by the time I got home. Try it!

Try some throat drops with Vitamin C, zinc and ecchinacea. Those ingredients all work well in reducing the length of your cold, plus it soothes your throat. I use those all the time!

you might want to get some Zicam...It's sold with the other cold remedies. It helped me get over my cold faster. Just be warned, do not get the nasal spray...It burns. Go for the chewable tablets or the quickmelts. they do taste nasty but I felt better fast!

That just sounded like a Nyquil commercial, so I'd go with a dose of that.
