When did Kobe get a fro?
All I remember is Ben Wallace's fro which half his blocks were probably his hair doing the work.
Kobe was crazy good last year though.

In my opinion, I believe that he just got older, more mature. That he got to the point in his life that he didn't need a signature haircut to define who he was as he already has an awesome game that will do that for him.
