You're not going to like this answer, but actually the reason I'm online right now was to research this very topic. I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my second child, and I've had this pain since the fourth month, but recently it's gotten really bad (it hurts so bad right now I can't lay down and get comfortable in bed to go to sleep). With my first pregnancy it showed up at around 26 weeks and lasted until the end, but it came and went and wasn't constantly bothering me. But from what I've just researched on the internet, I've found it says that the pain usually worsens with each pregnancy (because the ligaments have been stretched already, and thus are stretching even more with each pregnancy). Supposedly there are exercises the doctor can recommend, so I'll definitely be asking about those the next time I go in. Heat helps at the time, but doesn't seem to have any lasting effects for me.

I have an open question right now on the same topic, so unfortunately I can't tell you how to make it better because I'm wondering the same thing, but I can tell you that it's normal, and it's been so nice to get on here and find others who have experienced the same thing because none of my friends or family members ever experienced it.

Good luck, I hope it gets better for you!!!

I'm no longer certain approximately the ligament pains. I have a few pains each and every as soon as in a even as which possibly what you're relating to, however I'm no longer certain. I've continually performed nice with taking the prenatals within the night time, proper earlier than mattress, and with milk! For a few purpose it is the simplest approach I can preserve them down. I simply consume a small snack and drink a tight sized glass of milk and take the nutrition. I heard it is nice to take it within the night time that approach your frame has all night time to take in the vitamins and minerals versus simply urinating it out throughout the day. Hope this is helping, and well success! CONGRATS! :)

yes, round ligament pain sounds right. I have those also.(am am 37 week right now) it is normal. If you think they are anything else or they last longer than just a minute, call your doctor. You are at 6 months...that is about right for the round ligaments, it doesn't stop, since your muscles are still stretching. congrats and good luck

I am only 18 weeks and I have been having those pains for a while already. I asked my doc about it and she said it is just the round ligaments. I also have been having them more on my right side and she said not to worry my left side will get its share too lol. Good luck to you :)
