Alright i have PCOS and i've been on the pill for a month now. Is it possible for me to get pregnant? I know i have ovulation problems caused by the PCOS, and i know the pill slows if not stops ovulation, but i did miss a couple pills, and have had unpertected sex :( (several times) NOW my breast hurt ( a lot) & i think they may be growing, and i have a few other slight symptoms. I've been researching continuosly, and i took a cheap pregnancy test(it was negative), but i'm pretty sure it's too early for one of those things. Anyway, i know this question is probably nonsense, but thats OK if you think that..i just need to hear some one else say it..haha..and if it's not, then i need an answer please!!!

Yep! It's possible. I have a friend who has PCOS and the moment she decided that she was no longer going to "try" to get pregnant... she did. Plus, if you miss two pills in a one month cycle... you are opening yourself up to the possibility for ovulation to occur... and therefore pregnancy if you engage in unprotected sex.

When you first started the pill, your doc might have mentioned that it takes about a month for the pill to be effective (that is assuming you havent missed any)... but I took the pill religously and got pregnant with my son so anything is possible. Just try not to stress about and relax. If, when you start the sugar pill and you dont start, go ahead and take a test. Good Luck
