Please be specific - It's just that there seems to be alot of people out there who just say .... hmmmm, they're rubbish or should have given up the first time round....but what are your reasons for saying this as they obviously have a talent or an entertainment factor which a lot of people like - i mean everyone loves entertainment, and they are great entertainers.

I think it has to do with the fact that compared to a lot of talented musicians they get far too much publicity. In my opinion most (if not all) of these manufactured bands have no talent whatsoever (Take That included.) People who actually appreciate good music are right to hate this and should be allowed to voice their opinions.

The music industry nowadays has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with selling an image to young girls and in this case the women who used to follow them when they were young girls.

There is plenty of cash to be made from misguided females eager to buy dreams.

I think some critics will find that they wrote a great deal of their own music. They have matured and have taken on a new image. They are genuine, nice blokes, don't take themselves too seriously and maybe not all, but certainly a couple of them are talented individuals. They deserve to be doing well again,

I was not a huge fan in the beginning, I liked to be pretencious enough to protest against manufactured bands, but they are not that any more, they manage and control themselves and are doing thing because they want to, I have also grown up, and enjoy being entertained and listening to music with out pretending to be a music critic, and they certainly entertain, that's for sure.

I don't know why people don't like them so I will be interested to see the reasons, it's not like there is any thing there to really hate.

i loved take that, i love take that and i will love take that. i love them since i was about 12 or 13 years and i grew up listening to them.

i think Robbie and Gary were the really talented ones, Gary wrote most of the lyrics and played the piano, Robbie was the other take that who sang, Howard, Mark and Jason, where the "plus" of the band: good looking and good dancers, but the 5 made a magnificent combination.

then Robbie left and it was not the same. but i am so glad to know that they are together again. it has been almost 10 years since the last show: they, their music and me had grown up and evolved, as all things in life.

i think that all people must give them a chance, and take at least 10 minutes of their time to listen to their songs. they can be surprised. and, of course, we all miss robbie

I am not a fan but I will say that they sound better now than before. To say they're talentless is a bit of an understatement. Gary Barlow has written most of their songs and they have all been a success. The songs they have wrote on their new album appeals to a more mature audience aswell. Good luck to them.

I actually think they are pretty reasonable these days. I did not really like them much first time around (I am not a "boy band" kind of person) but I do think they were better than many similar bands.
The music they are doing these days is technically better and also the more mature style of the performance is more to my taste.

I think it is stupid to say someone is too old to make good music. Music is not about appearance: take Barry White - big fat bearded guy but man could he sing. And Pavarotti too - fantastic voice.

The music is great but honestly, they're too old (and in Gary's case too fat) to be a 'boy band' prancing around the stage.

They should look for a new style and become an elegant 'man band',

Nothing. There's nothing i dont like about take that. they are great :D and i think there are 2 types of take that fan - the ones who love to love them (like us!) and the ones who love to strongly pretend not to love them - kinda like the classic kid at school being mean to the girl he likes u know? - so really, we all get a lot of enjoyment from their reformation and love them in some way whichever type of fan we are, whether we know it or not....
