Well, I got my cingluar cell phone in August, and I was wondering how long I have to wait until I can upgrade my phone? Would anyone happen to know that?

since cingular is a gsm provider you can use any unlocked phone and simple insert your sim card in and the new phone will self activate, don't even have to call cingular. This gives you many options, you can find many cheap gsm phones on ebay

10 months for a 1 yr contract and 22 months for a 2 yr contract but you can buy any cingular device at any time with the only thing that you will be paying msrp vs paying for it on sale with a new contract
