If it was only yesterday - give it time. You will forget him; it won't happen overnight, but it WILL happen as you engage in other things. Reach out to your friends and family, they will be happy to support you through the rough times. Nearly everyone has gone through a traumatic experience at some point in their lifetimes, this is something all people can relate to. Sounds like you made the right decision to stand up for yourself; I guarantee that one day you will look back and feel thankful you did.

3 years is a long time, and if you feel he doesn't appreciate you there is no need to be with him any longer. In my opinion he probably took advatage of you since you did and gave this guy everything. He probably thought you wouldn't leave him but you sure proved him wrong when you did leave. If a man isnt helping with any of the bills then he isn't much of a man at all.. I think you did the right thing leaving. He doesn't deserve a women like you. You might feel bad about leaving him and all but what you have to understand is that he is a grown man, he needs to take care of himself. DO you girl dont ever feel like you cant do anything, because if u really wanted to start a new life without him you can do it. good luck

When you give a guy everything that you have you are hurting yourself. I'm sorry to say this, but it just makes it easier for a guy to use you. It can also damage your reputation and make you sound easy. He probably didn't appreciate because you never took time for yourself so it wasn't something that was done out of the bottom of your heart it was just a habit. I'm not trying to sound mean but that is just what happens in most cases like yours. I would try moving on as soon as possible. Don't waste your life moping about some guy when you could be out there get the guy of your dreams! Besides you should never cry over someone who won't cry over you!

It hurts because you've been with him for so long so he has been a part of your life. The fact is, he is not a good person for you and so you should be proud of the decision you've made to move on without him. The feelings that you feel are normal but you will get over them and you should. You need to be with someone who will appreciate what you do for them and will be good to you and help share responsibilities. You've made the right decision - don't look back!

Whoa, sorry, but why did you stay so long!? I would of left long time ago. Men are just like women, if you find a good one, granted their going to take advantage of you. That's where balance plays a crucial role. Don't give your love so easily, your worth more than your claiming.
