what would you say to persuade somone to take child abuse more seriously??? the government doesn't know wat parents are doing to thier children these days.

Depending upon the government for ANYTHING is ridiculous and NOT COOL. Defence is about the only thing the government does well....and sometimes I wonder about that.
If people are taught to respect all ages and all forms of life whether out of love for God or love of people...that's GOOD.
The main thing God wanted from us humans is to love each other.
All else except praise, thanks to God are extras...more or less.
As for charity...the churches have always been the best. Once in a while they give someone undeserving a louse...and the persons sell it for $80,000 profit but usually churches are way better than the government which wastes money like a drunken fool!

Each person in the world wants every other person in the world to take "an evil thing" seriously. Yet what if each person in the world just attempted to fix himself by taking "an evil thing" seriously?

My answer to your question is a general one, and I just want to say.. do not seek to change the world before changing yourself. If you change yourself, you changed the world already.

And if everyone just changed themselves instead of trying to change the others.. that is utopia.

What may seem to be off topic, is actually a response to what you really need to listen, and I know exactly how you feel there's injustice, and I'm also sure that the beginning of justice is working on yourself.

How can you possibly say that? Do you expect the government to monitor every household in this country? Do you plan on funding the government so that it can do monitor every household?

What do you know that the government doesn't know about what parents are doing to their children these day?
