Someone will.
I thought about this also, after I saw him on Leno. Anybody running against him will NOT, since that would KILL their bid to be President, however, those who aren't running and think it will help their guy/gal may just do it.
What people don't understand is that "Hussein" is a very popular name in that area of the world, his father is Kenyan, so the name is in Africa, too.
As far as "Obama" being turned into "Osama", well, that's a very immature thing to do, and while I have no doubt it will happen, I hope people refrain from doing that too much.
Hey, maybe his name can be spun pro-military. For instance "Barack" is one "R" away from "Barrack", which is where military personal live when on duty. Obviously, that's kind of stupid, but so is the "Hussein" twist.

No, but I think the ignorant will associate Barack Hussein Obama with Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden.

Of course they will, his opposition is in the game to win just as he is. That doesn't make it right though. A person can be responsable for a lot of thing but their name they really cannot help. And to attack a person's name is rather low in my book.
Me personally, I am looking at issues and oddly enough I am researching Obama right now to see what he is about. It takes more than an Opra endorsement to get my vote. I think the issues should drive the vote.

Nyaaa... actually THIS biggot will, since the commie liberal press guaranteed a Democratic presidential win in 2008, push Obama for number one, would much rather have had Colin Powell, and will back Bill and Hillary right after Charles Manson announces he is not running in their place...

They already have. Where have you been? What about the Florida Congressman who used the alliteration when comparing Barak Obama to Osama bin Laden? Did you miss that?

ask kennedy he cant say his name either... remember the "obamba, osama, omamba obama speech"?
but you are right this is bad. both sides do it. How many osama bin bush names have come up in this site. No real person can be taken seriously when this happens.

I suppose that now anyone who doesn't support Obama is going to be labeled a bigot? I wouldn't vote for him because he has no experience and this job is jusy over his head.

This is to be expected.. sadly. Having grown up in a minority situation, you quickly learn the code that say I am not a racist but everything I do is..
