I do not think Bush will be impeached. Here's why: The Democratic Party wants the White House. As good as it would feel to impeach Bush and company, it is counterproductive to that goal. Given the chance to steer the country in a new and better direction, the new U.S. Congress would be foolish to waste that opportunity on personal vengeance.

Side note - Which is the worst impeachable offense:
1) Lying about getting a little nookie in the White House (Deaths: Zero)
2) Lying about WMD's in Iraq, and going to war based on that lie (Deaths: thousands)

Sure, lets impeach him then Cheney can rule. Oh, lets then impeach Cheney...Better hurry....Oh nevermind. We impeach both and Nancy Polisi becomes President and that would cause WW3 in politics...

Naaa lets quit beating a dead horse...He will be gone in 2008 and we get all new victims to make crap up about them.

Thanks

No, I don't think the democrats will find it adventageous to impeach him. But I do think that many hearings will expose things about bush and the republican leadership that will make the Republicans radioactive to the voters in the next election, even moreso then this one.

Unfortunately, he will not be impeached for taking away our rights in an underhanded fashion or for the deaths of hundreds of thousands.

Republicans will not initiate it, because they are afraid of Bush's henchmen and they do not want it tagged to their party.
They learned from Nixon's time in the hot seat.

And Dems aren't inclined to be as rabid as Repugs nor do they have the stamina for a lengthy public trial while Iraq needs attention.

Like O.J., he'll walk.

You can't impeach the President just because you don't like him. He hasn't done anything that is impeachable.

I don't think he will. The republicans are too stupid to realize how much he has ruined this country and will continue to do so. No one could be any worse than Bush.

I see no need to impeach him. Like Iraq before the war, he is now adequately contained.

He should be impeached, but there are too many reasons - I can't pick just one!

Iraq, Katrina, ignoring and destroying the constitution to name just a few.
