I can't get to the car wash right away. I parked under a tree for the day, and disaster!!! The birds must have had prune juice or something cause they made a major mess all over the place. Please help! How can I get the stuff off?

You want to keep two things in the trunk of your car - a terry cloth towel and a bottle of Meguiar's Quick Detailer - http://www.meguiars.com/?car-maintenance/Quik-Detailer

Just spray the mess with the detailer and wipe off. Whatever you do, don't use Windex! A bucket of soapy water will work, but if you are looking for a quick, easy and transportable solution, the Quick Detailer is what you want.

Warm water and soap with a soft sponge and plenty of running water to rinse.

I carry baby wipes for just this occasion. They will get you by until you can get it washed. Don't leave it on, it will etch your paint.
