my compter was buith top of the line four years that my microphone doesnt work been remove i dont have the disk to restore it i pick up sound card cmi87pci is not the same how i fix it the card in my compter

are you running windows xp and if so just ask the installations wiserd to find new or fix the drivers(you will need the disk for windows xp for this) if not get it all will fix its self...
