My husband and FIL think it's incorrect, but I've never heard any rules against it. I'm pretty sure I"m right, but I have yet to find any definitive answer. Sources helpful (to say "I told you so") but not necessary.

Incorrect as all get out

There are lots of grammar helps online but it will take some serious 'wading'. Go to the local high school and ask an Eng teacher...

I think it is incorrect. For example: "Give me those ones." It would sound better if you would say "Give me those apples." The same goes for "these ones." I think I'm correct because it sounds right but I'm not sure. Hope i was a little bit of help at least :]

It is incorrect, because there is no plural for the word "one".
