Not always, because when you call a wrong number and no-one answers, you don't know you've phoned the wrong number.

Good question.

Although I notice from my cell phone that is only applicable to landlines...no one who calls my cell phone as a wrong number actually has me answer it.

ummmm, maybe becaused YOU called their phone, I mean BELIEVE me I'ld love to have the ability to know that the person on the other end was just moronic enough to call the wrong number so I didn't have to answer but life doesn't work that way sooooo........... if you wanna give us all your number we'll make sure NOT to answer if it comes up on our caller ID!!! KK?
