if it is like my car, you push and hold the button on the dash where you reset your mileage after you fill up with gas

Check your owner's manual. I have a 2000 SC1 and there is a small red button inside the fuse panel under the hood that has to be pressed to reset my light. If yours is like mine then you have to turn the key to on, engine off, take the cover off the fuse panel under the hood, hold down the little red button for 5 secs until the oil change light flashes, and you are done.

Remove battery cables from battery for 12 seconds or more. This should reset the computer in the car.

Disconnect pos battery cable for 5 min and this should reset your computer
